- Visit your dentist regularly:

- Brush twice a day (at least):
We have been told time and again that we need to brush our teeth twice a day. Well, this still stands true. In fact, brushing your teeth after a high carbohydrate meal is a good way to keep cavity causing bacteria off your teeth!
- Brushing the right way:
Everyone thinks that their technique of brushing is the best one! But is it so? Visit your dentist to learn the best way to brush. The right technique of brushing not only removes plaque and tartar but also protects the teeth and fillings from wearing away due to improper brushing techniques.
- Floss till there is gloss:
Flossing is never far behind brushing. Flossing should be done at least once a day. Various kinds of floss are available in the market today and should be used in all conditions. If you find it difficult to floss, consult your dentist to show you the right technique of doing so. Not flossing can lead to cavity formation between your teeth, crowns and veneered teeth.
- Use a soft to medium bristled tooth brush:
Using a soft or medium bristled tooth brush is preferred over a hard bristled one. The hard bristles lead to wearing of tooth structure as well as structure of restorations like crowns and veneers.
